NYC is getting its very own 'HOMECOMING' concert
— for the vaccinated!
Our very own Mayor Bill De Blasio confirmed that NEW YORK CITY is getting its own concert! "We ❤️ NYC: the Home Coming Concert" will take place in Central Park on August 21st. Thankfully, anyone who attends is expected to be vaccinated.
Every person in attendance will be required to show proof of vaccination to get in (note: this means children under 12 will not be allowed.) It is estimated that around 60,000 will gather on The Great Lawn, social distancing will not be required and masks are optional. Is this REAL LIFE?!
Legendary Clive Davis and Danny Meyer helped booked and organize the event with Live Nation. Here is the lineup so far:

For those who are unable to attend, the concert will air and stream starting at 5 pm EST on CNN. As for getting in, really, all you will need is your proof of vaccination. 80% of tickets will be free with VIP tickets available for purchase too.
In addition to the concert that's happening at Central Park, there will be other events happening throughout the five boroughs from August 14th - August 22nd
