SUPER REAL
has opened at Cipriani 25 Broadway, inside the historic Cunard Building, bringing its cutting edge projecting mapping tech and multimedia art to its walls and ceilings. It also happens to be the 100th anniversary of the Cunard Building, which opened in 1921. This event is created by multimedia entertainment MOMENT FACTORY in partnership with Cipriani.
The show runs for 45 mins, in five unique and abstract sequences that are both stunning and interactive. One minute you could be daydreaming in a fairy-like flower garden and the next, caught up in an epic storm or tropical disco. You can relax on the bean bags or play with balloons while you experience and watch this 360-degree view show. The floor becomes a gigantic mirror that enhances the special effects of this experience. This is the ultimate place for selfies and Instagrammable photos!
COSMIC CAMP
the experiential retailer known for its kid-friendly shops is bringing a whole new immersive concept to its flagship store near Union Square. Families will be transported to space by AR and projection mapping that will be sprawled across 8000 sq ft of space. Families entering Cosmic Camp will do so through a tunnel to arrive at the Launch Pad. With the press of a button, they will watch smoke and flames erupt as they blast off into space. Kids can climb inside the Space Station and use joysticks to control Remote Rovers on an alien planet.
This is a unique experience for families who want to take their kids on a day adventure!
Creatures of Light
If you are opting for something a bit more lowkey and mellow, CREATURES OF LIGHT is showing at the American Museum of Natural History, which explores the organisms that glow, blink, flash and flitter in an immersive setting.
